Shelley B. Green is a founding partner in Tidewater Consulting, Inc.,
bringing 12 years of experience in the political arena to the firm. She
plays a critical role in client relations in addition to managing the
day-to-day operations of the firm.
A native Floridian, Shelley was born and raised in Jacksonville, where
she was an active participant in the arts community. She began her
career in the political arena by interning in the Tallahassee office
of Senator Connie Mack. She then served as the Executive Assistant
to the Chairman and Special Events Coordinator at the Republican Party
of Florida for six years during a period of time which saw unrivaled
growth and expansion of the Republican agenda in Florida.
Shelley played a key role in the Republican Party's successful 1995
Presidency straw poll and the 1996 Republican National Convention.
She planned and was instrumental in the success of the Party's 1996,
1997, and 1998 Statesman's Gala. While at the Party, Shelley planned
the Florida delegations activities at the1996 Southern Republican Leadership
Conference, organized campaign schools, coordinated grassroots and
volunteer efforts, and planned the Florida activities for the Republican
National Convention in 1996.
Shelley attended Florida Community College in Jacksonville on full academic
scholarship. She graduated from Florida State University in 1994 with
a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs/Political Science.
Shelley received her Master of Social Science in Executive Management
from Florida State University in 2000. |
